Important Tripura travel information

Entry and identification

Indian visitors generally do not require an Inner Line Permit. Carry valid photo ID; foreign nationals and border-area visitors should verify current requirements before travel.

Comfortable route planning

Unakoti, Jampui Hills and eastern attractions involve longer road journeys. Add overnight stays rather than rushing the route.

Timings and boating

Reconfirm museum closures, temple customs, weather, boat operations and local access shortly before each visit.
